After graduating from Loyola Law School in 1989 and successfully completing the Louisiana State Bar Examination, J. Ricky LaFleur accepted a clerkship with Honorable Jeannette T. Knoll of the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal. (Jeannette T. Knoll now is a justice on the Louisiana Supreme Court.)
Following the three year law clerkship, Mr. LaFleur accepted an associate position with an Abbeville law firm. In 1996, Mr. LaFleur formed J. Ricky LaFleur, A Professional Law Corporation. Since then, Mr. LaFleur has represented hundreds of persons and businesses throughout south Louisiana.
